Diskaraoke VOL. 5: TGIF, 1980s to 2000s Music in Bandung

Being previously successful in Jakarta, IDN Soundscape, again, collaborated with MLDSPOT to hold Diskaraoke VOL. 5.  For the very first time in Diskaraoke’s history, we visited Bandung, especially 90 Kitchen & Bar. With counter-culture concept, this event brought up the 1980s up to 2000s top songs last Friday, 29 November 2019.

Diskaraoke VOL. 05, for millennials, was a place for them who wanted to release their fatigue after a week full of work. No need to worry about not memorizing the lyrics if you felt like you wanted to sing the good old songs because the committee already prepared a large screen providing the lyrics of each song played.

To make the event not monotonous, Diskaraoke VOL. 5 also held a game called Suck & Blow. Some of the tens millennials coming joined the game. They were then divided into 2 groups and each participant must successfully carry a card with their mouths from the starting line to the finish line. Attractive prizes were given as an appreciation for those participating. Not only that, even those who uploaded their excitement in Diskaraoke VOL. 5 also received a sum of cash—the winners had been announced on 30 November 2019.
