IDN Chat Vol. 01: Bringing Home the Unseen Things

In Vol. 01 that will be held on 07 February 2020 later, we’ll have the presence of Aswin T. Utomo (Tokopedia’s Vice President of Engineering) and Herman Widjaja (Senior Tokopedia’s Vice President of Engineering). They’ll talk about the “Innovation Secrets of Tokopedia”: sorts of valuable things enabling Tokopedia to be one of the top unicorns in Indonesia. 

With the coming of these two experts at engineering, IDN Chat Vol. 01 is going to have more segmented guests. Unlike the previous community events of IDN Media which were publicly open, we now just invite people who have the same interests as the topic we are raising. In other words, if this Friday we’re having those two engineering experts, we’ll also send the official invitations for those people who are also savvy about engineering and technological stuff. 

Learning from the previous experiences and errors, Ruth Dita Christianti, as the Community Development Manager of IDN Media, said, “We want to build stronger engagement with our audience. We don’t want them to just take physical things that we give as presents, we want them to bring home some things that are unseen, like insight, knowledge, discussion, and especially network.”

On this chance, collaborating with Tokopedia is one of the ways how to give our audience broader knowledge which stands not only in one domain.
