There are some questions Mamas may have about joining Popmama Parenting Academy 2019 next 11-13 October 2019 at The Forum Atrium, Summarecon Mall Serpong. The questions can be how to register or whether there are some requirements to join the event. To answer them, we have already had an interview with the Editor-in-Chief of Popmama.com, Sandra Ratnasari.
Being asked about the things to prepare, she answered briefly, “Nothing.” Actually, the maximum age for the children to join any activity is 12 years old, however, “If your kid is 14, let’s say, but Mama wants to get some parenting knowledge, it’s still okay to join. Just come and see us directly or register yourself via bit.ly/popac-entrace-ticket,” she explained.
Sandra, who is also a worker and a millennial mama of two children, told us, “Based on what most young parents have stated, they need accurate and relevant parenting knowledge in order to know the children’s growth stages or how to develop their talents.” By joining some competitions such as coloring, dancing, and fashion show, the children can also have the opportunity to interact with other kids and so the motor skill will be sharpened at the same time.
To ensure the quality of parenting information, Popmama Parenting Academy 2019 will invite professionals and experienced parents to answer questions from parents. Sandra told us, “It’s a one-stop place for millennial parents to have parental knowledge through talk shows and classes.” She also added, “There will be some entertaining performances too. We’ll have the performance of Kafin Sulthan, a singer who played a role in Laskar Pelangi and Maisha Kanna, a singer who became one of the casts in Dua Garis Biru.”
After attending activities in Popmama Parenting Academy 2019, this signature event of Popmama.com can hopefully give parental guidelines for all millennial families in Indonesia.
