IDN Media as the Executive Producer of Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini: Oka Antara Taught His Son about Responsibility on Its First Look Video

As the first movie that marks IDN Media’s first involvement in the Indonesia movie industry, the film shooting process of Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini (NKTCHI) has finally been done by Visinema Pictures production house. There are many fun things having been posted on Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini’s social media account.  This film about family is actually adapted from the best-seller book by Marchella F. P. Directed by Angga Dwimas Sasongko and it has launched its first-look video.

In that one-minute first look video (https://youtu.be/njdybOKlt5o?t=16), there’s a young couple, that already has a son and a daughter, is now facing a moment when the wife is about to give birth to the third little one. Since the first child is usually expected to become an individual that is more mature, in the video, we can hear the father (Oka Antara) gives advice about the responsibility that the son (Muhammad Adhiyat) must endure in order to give protection to his siblings. 

NKCTHI book is the third book of Marchela F. P. after Generasi90an and Generasi90 Kemarin Sore. Written in 2016 and released on October 2018, this book discusses the challenges that are faced by most millennial parents. The book Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini contains a compilation of Awan’s messages that are addressed to his future child. The sentences are very compact and they come with simple yet touching illustrations. 

This thirteenth film production by Visinema Pictures will surely include well-known actors and actresses, such as Rachel Amanda, Rio Dewanto, Sheila Dara, Donny Damara, Susan Bachtiar, Chicco Jerikho, Isyana Saraswati, Oka Antara, Niken Anjani, Ardhito Pramono, Agla Artalidia, Umay Shahab, Muhammad Adhiyat, and Sinyo.

Understanding the positive impacts that movies can bring to people’s lives, IDN Media decides to get involved in the movie industry by becoming the Executive Producer of Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini.
