Today, June 8, 2021, IDN Media has just turned seven! IDN Media is a major social media platform with a concise vision statement. It envisions democratized information as well as positive impacts on all Indonesians, from Aceh to Papua. Commemorating its seventh anniversary, IDN Media brings in #AwalBaru (a new start) as its main theme.

#AwalBaru represents IDN Media's brand new energy to own its very best chance to move towards a brighter future. Being amid a crisis of uncertainty such as the COVID-19 pandemic, organizations are impelled to move with overwhelming speed, resulting in a potentially paralyzing volume of these big-bet decisions. Responding to this, IDN Media stays positive, adaptive, and innovative, turning this unfortunate moment into a starting point to begin a new, better day.

Actualizing it, IDN Media is committed to giving the best out of it and innovating, to achieve its consequential vision of providing equal access to information for the people across the country. IDN Media believes that democratizing information should be taken into account, given that it’s one of the precise ways to make Indonesia a better country.  Millennials & Gen Z undoubtedly play a critical role here, so let's just get into #AwalBaru and discover a more meaningful journey, for a better Indonesia.

Winston Utomo, CEO of IDN Media - “Seven years have passed. It all began on a sunny afternoon, with a dream of a better Indonesia. We’ve been through a lot of ups and downs, leading us all to an #AwalBaru. Our whole message is that we are more powerful together because when you know you need to innovate, you need collaboration.

Inspired by the diversity of our motherland, we’ve got this big vision for Indonesia, right in our handsㅡthe vision of democratizing information for all Indonesians, from Aceh to Papua.

8 June 2021, a moment marking out an #AwalBaru for us. For a longer journey, for a more meaningful story, for a better Indonesia.”
