Jakarta, 15 January 2019 - After launching IDN Times Jatim and IDN Times Bali, today (15/1) IDN Media officially launched IDN Times Sulsel. IDN Times’ readers can now get #HYPERLOCAL content about Sulawesi Selatan at sulsel.idntimes.com. This launch was supported by the Governor of Sulawesi Selatan, Nurdin Abdullah.
Founded in Surabaya, Indonesia on 8 June 2014 by brothers Winston Utomo and William Utomo, IDN Media envisions to democratize access to accurate, balanced, useful, and positive information and ultimately, to become the voice of Millennials and Gen-Z in Indonesia and to bring positive impacts on the society. As of today, IDN Media operates IDN Times, Popbela.com, Popmama.com, Yummy, IDN Creative, IDN Event, and IDN Creator Network, with over 50 million monthly unique users in its platforms.
During his visit to IDN Media Creative Lab, Governor of Sulawesi Selatan, Nurdin Abdullah, said that he was hopeful that IDN Times Sulsel can become a successful online media in the digital era. In addition, Nurdin Abdullah also expressed high optimism for the launch of the IDN Times Sulsel. “I believe that IDN Times Sulsel can become the source of accurate, reliable, balanced, and actual information for all Millennials and Gen Z in South Sulawesi. Thus, it will help the acceleration of the development in South Sulawesi.”
