The 20 FORTUNE Indonesia Businessperson of the Year 2021 Is Presented

FORTUNE Indonesia will honor 20 FORTUNE Indonesia Businessperson of the Year 2021 in November 2021. The names chosen have a variety of roots, ranging from founders, owners to Chief Executive Officers. This year's selection of the 20 best Indonesian businessperson aims not only to give appreciation but also to inspire other businesspeople. Their diverse approaches to dealing with various obstacles throughout the epidemic may also be utilized as important business lessons.

FORTUNE Indonesia's fourth edition explores the lives of the individuals who’ve made the list of 20 FORTUNE Indonesia Businessperson of the Year 2021. Beginning with Garibaldi Thohir, President Director and CEO of PT Adaro Energy Tbk; Franky Oesman Widjaja, Chairman & CEO of Golden Agri-Resources Ltd (GAR), a leader who carefully employs precision agriculture services; and Nicke Widyawati, President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), a woman who leads an oil and gas company in Indonesia, the only Indonesian company that has managed to get into the ranks of the company with the largest revenue in the world.

The evaluation is based on the company's performance in 2020 and the first half of 2021, according to the methodology used by FORTUNE principals in the United States. Furthermore, the Businessperson of the Year 2021 is assessed based on a range of attributes, such as transformative leadership, Good Corporate Governance (GCG), and adaptive corporate action.
