Continuing #HYPERLOCAL project by IDN Times, today (16/9) IDN Times Jateng is officially launched. Attended by Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo, the launch took place at Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata, Semarang. Now IDN Times’ readers in Central Java can get specially tailored #HYPERLOCAL content about Central Java through jateng.idntimes.com.


Founded in 2014 by brothers Winston Utomo and William Utomo, democratizing access to accurate, balanced, useful, and positive information has always been the vision of IDN Media. Through #HYPERLOCAL project, IDN Times envisions to become the voice of Millennials and Gen Z, even for those living outside Jakarta.


Alongside the launch of IDN Times Jateng, Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo, Rector of Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata Prof. Dr. Ridwan Sanjaya, Founder & CEO of IDN Media Winston Utomo, and Editor-in-Chief IDN Times Uni Lubis also had the opportunity to deliver the keynote speech to hundreds of students attending the event.
