Forbes released its 30 under 30 Asia 2017 on Thursday, 13th April 2017. From ten categories, brothers Winston and William Utomo, the CEO & COO of IDN Media, are the only Indonesians selected in the category of Media, Marketing & Advertising.

When IDN Media was founded in 2014, Winston Utomo envisions IDN Media to be the voice of Millennials and Gen Z. The breakthrough concept and creativity implemented by IDN Media have successfully make a dent in the media landscape in Indonesia. Two years since its founding, IDN Media has attracted more than 20 million monthly web readers and more than 90 million monthly web pageviews. This extraordinary achievement was supported by other business units in IDN Media such as IDN Creative, an in-house creative agency; IDNtv, an in-house video production; and IDN Event, an event organizer that has successfully organized BeautyFest Asia 2017 and IDN CreativeFest.

“Media plays a significant role in determining the future of a country. We hope and believe that IDN Media is able to give positive contribution to Indonesia by becoming a platform for MIllennials and Gen Z to be inspired, informed, entertained.” said Winston Utomo.

Adding to the rapid growth of IDN Media, brothers Winston and William Utomo just received a prestigious award by Forbes. They are the only Indonesians featured in Forbes’ 30 under 30 Asia 2017 in the category of Media, Marketing & Advertising.

From thousands of candidates, Forbes only featured 30 names with the best potential in each of the ten categories based on Judges’ assessment. The Judges for the Media, Marketing & Advertising category are represented by Caspar Schlickum (CEO, Wunderman APAC), Kristie Lu Stout (Anchor, CNN), and Mark Britt (CoFounder iFlix).

“Being featured in the Forbes’ 30 under 30 Asia 2017 with the other inspiring Millennials is an honor for us. We are going to keep working hard to make IDN Media becomes the inspiration for many people,” said William Utomo.
